I'm pretty much a typical English student - lazy, poorly motivated etc... Last year I lived in Liege, Belgium as part of my course. Which was, er, interesting ! Anyway, I've no idea what I'd like to do after I finish this year. I used to be Editor of the student newspaper here in Hull and have articles published in NME and Melody Maker, so perhaps journalism would be an idea. Even factory work looks atractive after four years of being skint are considered ! I'm Welsh, speak the language and I'm very proud of my North Welsh heritage. I grew up in the shadows of Snowdonia and the Clwydians, an area which is extremely beautiful. My music tastes are varied - Mozart and Vivaldi, occasionally even Verdi, The Pixies, Breeders, Stone Roses, Manic Street Preachers, Super Furry Animals, Babybird, Catatonia and The Smiths. I detest pointless covers of old songs, rap which has nothing more to commend itself than a decent classical tune/remix in the background and repetitive dance music. I used to play rugby and football up to junior international level but a knee injury forced me to stop. As it is, I am now proudly cultivating my beer belly and alcohol tolerance level. My girlfriend, Rachel, and I hope to get married at some point in the near future and then go round the world together.
